Kisssh-Kissssssh Film Festival

Kisssh-kissssssh is a sound of ocean wave as well as the sound of the historical name of Wakayama prefecture, Kishu. This film festival began with an idea to show films in an environment where we can also hear the sound of ocean wave in the background. Kisssh-Kissssssh Film festival takes place in Kada, Wakayama. It is a fisherman’s town surrounded by mountains and ocean. Prize-winning independent films and exhibitions are shown in vacant houses and warehouses. Selected films are shown outdoor at night where you can see the stars and hear the sound of waves.
