Experimental Works from Diploma in Broadcast Media at LASALLE College of the Arts

Subverting the norm and defying expectations, students from the Diploma in Broadcast Media programme in the Puttnam School of Film and Animation at LASALLE College of the Arts creatively explore the forms of dance, music and fashion with imaginative, thought-provoking and visually explosive videos. Collaborating with students from the Fashion, Music, Audio Production and Dance diploma programmes in LASALLE College of the Arts, Broadcast Media students are exposed to a dynamic selection of art forms and embark on expressing each unique form to screen with their vast imagination.

The outcome are award-winning experimental video works screened and awarded in numerous local and international competitions such as the Crowbars Awards, Animex Awards, Miami 4 Social Change Film Festival and Film Art Figueira Da Foz International Film Festival.

The ‘Weird and Wonderful’ channel brings to Viddsee for the first time, a collection of the best of these genre-bending and creatively charged videos from the Diploma in Broadcast Media programme.
