Pitu Village is a small village located at the top of the Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano, Yogyakarta. As the name suggests, the village is only inhabited by 7 families. If it's more, it's less; if it's less, it's more. The residents of Pitu Village also hold beliefs passed down from their ancestors, one of which is not to hold shadow puppet shows. It is said that if they violate these taboos, disaster will happen to the residents.
