Andini's Dream

This documentary film tells about the Jepara Lomban which is held every year on the third day after Idul Fitri in Jepara Regency. This Jepara Lomban is told from the point of view of a woman (Andini) who owns a buffalo who has lost her favorite buffalo (Mahesa). This buffalo is her best friend since childhood. Mahesa was chosen for Lomban this year (2019). Even though Andini tried to refuse, he was not powerful. Andini is aware that Lomban is being held for the welfare of many people (fishermen). His personal ego must be inferior to the bigger interest, the interest of the community (fishermen). This is a nightmare for Andini, but she can't help it, even though she is sad to lose Mahesa, but she knows that many people are happy to welcome Lomban, yes. Sadness for Happiness. Even though he was reluctant, Andini continued to participate in the procession and slaughter to release Mahesa. Through a procession, the Mahesa Head was then placed in a ship with Uborampe, then brought out to sea. Mahesa's head floated into the middle of the sea with the ship and the uborampe. At the end of the story, Andini sends love flowers on the coast. Goodbye Mahesa.
