A homeless panhandler, Surti (Ratna Sarumpaet) is unable to provide a decent burial for her recently-deceased husband because of her lack of means. Her struggles led her to encounter cold bureaucratic authorities and a scheming religious leader which pushes her to take matters into her own hands, resulting in disastrous consequences. This short film depicts the inhumanity of a human being living below the poverty line in a big city.
