Reversing the common adage that only Vietnamese brides benefit from marrying Singaporean men, the episode follows two couples on courtship after marriage, love, and growing old.

Director Statement:
Being involved intimately with lives so different from ours is a humbling experience that we seek within our studio's practice. These acts of observation, honest conversations and raw emotions privilege us to tell the story of someone else. Shot in an almost auto-biographical manner, we hope that the five episodes can complicate notions of social mobility, setting the tone for contemplations and discussions around this multi-faceted topic.
