Dayang Torek
Dayang Torek or Silampari or the Missing Princess are folk tales that are tangible evidence of cultural hegemony over the lives of three regions (Musirawas, Lubuklinggau, and North Musirawas) which to this day still consider them to be the ones who own or have the right to the spoken literature.
Borrowing the voices of cultural observers, storytellers, and folklore activists, Dayang Torek explores this cultural polemic in a coherent, blunt, and unconventional way.
