Before the funeral ceremony, the staff members discover that the body has mysteriously vanished. Frantically, they scramble to look for the lost remains, buying time by feeding the anxious family a string of plausible excuses to delay their final goodbyes. To maintain the illusion of normalcy, they even resort to bribery, persuading the ceremony master to deliberately slow down the proceedings. As the situation reaches a nail-biting climax, the mortuary makeup artist hatches a daring plan. Swiftly, she recruits a look-alike and dresses him in the exact same way as the deceased, attempting to fool the mourners.
