Chuchu, a Chinese girl who was adopted by a Chinese couple when she was 3, comes to Singapore looking for her biological mother. After she was fired by her racist boss in a coffee shop, she goes to a funeral and finds her biological mother who is a crier in the funeral, however, at this particular moment, she hears the news that her foster mother has just passed away in China. Then Chuchu cries for both her mothers.
