Winter 2003. 22 year-old Kwong returned to Hong Kong from Australia for a vacation. His grandmother set up a blind-date for him, which turned out to be unsuccessful. He discovered he had an aunt, and a cousin seven years younger than himself, whom he had never met. He put up with the quarrels between his grandmother and cousin. His cousin made him realize that he too was not a very nice person. He hoped to help his cousin settle down. When she left without saying good-bye, Kwong was depressed and broken-hearted. He wandered lost in the freezing rain.
