Phinn is a young boy who falls within the autism spectrum. His father, Edward struggles to raise him alone. Worried of people not understanding Phinn’s condition, he is constantly afraid of interactions with neighbours with the fear of Phinn offending them. He avoids interaction, small talks and maintains minimal eye contact with others.

Edward’s increasing workload prevents him from spending time with Phinn, who runs around the block alone, attempting to befriend cats and collecting cardboard to build his “castle” back in his bedroom. His “castle” becomes a safe haven for him, inspired by his favorite night-time storybook.

Neighbors begin to find Phinn’s actions annoying, as true to Edward’s concerns. Yet Phinn’s innocent and enthusiastic approach to strangers aren’t all bad as friendships blossom along the way.
