Karen
Carding was physically abused by his father. Carding is traumatized by this tragic incident. The abuse ended when both of his parents died during an unpredictable storm which caused their accidental drowning in the river. Carding doesn’t know what he should feel after, because he knows that his father can no longer hurt him, but he also knows that he will be an orphan.
Carding somehow finds happiness in the presence of Carmela. Carmela is his childhood friend. When Carding’s parents were still alive, it seems that Carding spent most of his time with Carmela rather than being with them. She was always with him and making him to feel that he was not alone. Carmela secretly fell in love with Carding. Carding is aware about Carmela’s feelings for him, but he knows that all that he can offer to her is their friendship. Carmela is always waiting for Carding’s love. Sometimes she get annoyed when Carding is mentioning Karen.
Carmela knows everything about Carding except this girl named Karen. She tried to ask Carding who that girl is, but Carding answers are always vague. Carding is always saying that he wants to see Karen and to feel her presence. Knowing Karen is not the only thing that Carmela doesn't know about Carding.
