Kickers is a coming-of-age film about Natasha, and her attempts in salving an increasing decaying friendship with her childhood buddy. As life gets in its way, priorities change, and paths diverge. It is the first time her friend is leaving; and the first time she might have ever felt something; and what even does that meant?

This film thugs at the wistfulness of teenage hood and the inevitably of growing up, for one’s coming of age is another’s letting go.
