Lance Corporal Yazzid is assigned to an isolated pillbox located along the Kuantan coast during WW2. Young, hard-nosed and uptight, he quickly comes into confrontation with the nonchalant and insubordinate attitude of his trench-mate, veteran soldier Private Othman. Though, life out at the outpost proves to be not as straightforward as he had initially imagined, his personal struggles become unimportant with the impending Japanese invasion and occupation of Malaya.
