Singapore’s rapid changes have seen the loss of some precious moments that now sit within her history - but occasionally, a revival of these moments just happens. "Pirouette" observes a new generation of carnivals & fun fairs that were commonplace through the 70s and 80s Singapore but has since popped back to life in a small way.

"Pirouette" is an observational documentary that seeks to present the currency of fun fairs and carnivals that are likely to disappear, against a backdrop - through voice-overs - of the nostalgia it was more than 40 years ago. One of the remaining operators, Uncle Ringo, persists in the trade to continue bringing joy to the common folk, but how long will it last?
