Mei is forced to face her fear of childbirth when her heavily pregnant sister Jie returns to their home while her husband is away for a work trip. Uncomfortable with her sister’s pregnant belly, Mei tries to get used to the idea of having a new member of the family while getting over her own reservations about her sister’s approaching delivery date. Jie’s early labour pushes her to face her trauma of her mother’s death and her guilt over her own birth eventually.
