Orthopaedic Surgical Resident Dr Kumaran took a year of no-pay leave to climb Mount Everest to raise funds for needy patients from low-income families at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He exchanged a year’s of his career for a lifetime of experiences to encourage and inspire inmates to reform and reintegrate them into society. This is Dr Kumaran.
