Staged in 1997, Assam, northeastern India, villages are poverty-stricken and desperate for livelihoods. Their peace was completely shattered to become their worst nightmare with the intrusion of a group of soldiers. Yet ironically, celebrations of peace and nation's Independence Day came from the radio.
