Syed is forced to take over the family business of running a Mee Rebus store at Bedok Coffeeshop after his father retires due to old age. He learns the secret recipe from his father and begins running the store. He eventually realizes that the whole hawker centre is being surveilled by extraterrestrial beings which plot to steal their secret recipe. The plot thickens when the aliens are actually targeting all the stores in the Bedok Coffeeshop, which eventually results in Syed leading a ragtag team of hawkers to protect what is rightfully theirs. This story explores the lengths one would go to carry on tradition, preserve heritage and also protect it from getting into the wrong hands.
