Baedah is used to take double of what she’s supposed to have, in terms of having gift baskets from the neighborhood events. In the wake of her neighbor’s death, the family conducted a seventh day prayer to commemorate the dead. At the end of ceremony, gift baskets are given to those who come to their house and say prayers with the family. Baedah of course took double of what she’s supposed to had, making one of the neighbor (Mardiyah) leaving empty handed. Mardiyah was so fed up with Baedah’s behavior, she decided to give her a lesson. Little did Baedah know, that night she got frights of her life.
