"Unbroken" traces the story of Guang in modern-day Singapore, struggling with various forms of Dyslexia as a child, in school and in the army. The difficulties he has with fine motor coordination and grasping mathematical and spatial concepts cause him to be the brunt of much ridicule and ostracisation.

His family, together with caring teachers who believe in him, are fortunately his pillars of strength.
