I started making this series after my father was diagnosed with six months left to live. My initial goal was to record my father’s voice for my children, but gradually the focus shifted to my own relationship with my father. Passing on family memories during the final days of my father develops into preparation for his passing. Being aware of death is an opportunity to reconsider the beauty of life.
