Rolly, an ordinary middle-aged guy lives alone with his invalid mother. He has a deep infatuation with Glenda, a regular customer of his in his lunch service. One day, he wakes up to find the Virgin Mary standing by the foot of his bed. She whispers something into his ear, which changes his mood and disposition. He almost instantly and on autopilot goes to Glenda's house to abuse her. Feeling satisfied by the fact that he followed the Virgin Mary’s instructions, he sleeps peacefully, only to wake up finding the Virgin Mary lying next to him. She whispers something to him again, and Rolly gets up with the same look and heads to his mother’s room. The Virgin Mary follows him.
