Director Statement:
Wedding Pig symbolizes fertility and family, and traditions like these are meant to strengthen a family's identity and beliefs held across generations. But when such traditions become obsolete and senseless in today's world, we sacrifice both the tangible and intangible inheritance. In this series, we dive deep into how a simple traditional Wedding Pig can complicate a relationship between two sisters in our modern society. Not all of us have a sibling, but we have someone we care deeply about, even though we aren't on the best of terms with them. We may have misplaced and misunderstood our "Wedding Pig", but blood is always thicker than water.
